Diversity e-learning course (German)
During my time at the e-learning agency LearnChamp, I worked on a project for the ING Deutschland, a large German bank.
I was the Lead Learning Designer for the diversity training within this project.
This included setting the learning goals, creating a user flow, as well as writing a storyboard, cooperating with the designers and tool experts, and client support.
This course was a noncompulsory awareness training for all employees, that focused on diversity within the company.
Highlights of the course
Small case scenarios from employees with Multiple Choice questions on how to handle these.
Reflection exercises about statements on inequality & diversity at the workplace.
Flashcard exercises with rainbow flags & definitions of sexuality.
Reflection exercises

Instead of testing knowledge, we aimed to create activities that would engage learners in
reflecting on their own viewpoints. Therefore, we designed exercises that featured a statement, a rainbow slider, and more information. This way learners were not only reflecting, but they also got the opportunity to compare their own views with others or receive more information on regulations or the current status in Germany.
How it worked:
A statement was shown at the top
Learners were asked to move the rainbow-slider to the degree they would agree with the statement.
Afterward, more information popped up under the rainbow-slider.
Feedback
We received amazing feedback, from the clients, especially from the diversity team within the company.
Hear yourself (German):
I interviewed Oliver Fachinger, the client from this project on the differences between in-house production versus hiring an agency as well as general feedback & tips for e-learning production.
