On average, people have around 168 online accounts, many of which are inactive. Each unused account increases the risk of data breaches and cyber-attacks. Yet, deleting accounts is often so complex and inconsistent across platforms that most people never do it.
During my internship at the University of Gothenburg, I designed and tested a student-facing learning analytics dashboard for maritime simulator training. Through participatory workshops, grounded theory analysis, and prototyping, I explored how learners define meaningful feedback. The results were presented to the i-MASTER consortium and contributed to the development of the EU project’s prototype system.
